Emma Hardie & Crabtree & Evelyn review

Hello again!

These two gems are both new discoveries for me so I'm super excited to give a review of them.  I've put them together because they are both stunning luxury products that have lovely scents, packaging and will make for lovely Christmas presents for a special lady.  What stands out about both of these products for me is the quality of the product, as they really do both provide amazing benefits.

Emma Hardie Amazing Face Protect and Prime 30
RRP £45 from Space NK and Feel Unique

This product has three benefits in one bottle - acting as a moisturiser, sun protection and also as a primer.  This is my first primer which has other functions and I think it is a brilliant idea as I often forget primer and then immediately regret it once my makeup is on.

I love how this product does it all - it makes preparing so much easier with just one product.  Acting as a moisturiser and primer I'm then ready for the foundation and it provides a great base to start working with.   This product contains Mongongo oil, oat extract and Vitamin E - all of which helb to protect the skin and help against the signs of ageing.

The scent of Emma Hardie's product really is what made me happy with this product - I finally wanted to feel pampered with a delicious and expensive smelling product.  It's like something straight from a spa!  I don't usually bother with sun protection wither so it's nice to know that that is added in too which will help protect against ageing.

Next up is Crab Tree and Evelyn La Source ultra moisturising hand therapy
RRP £15.00

Again, I was drawn to this product for its delicious scent.  Crabtree and Evelyn have a number of scents within their La Source range but this one was really irresistible.

For me, a hand moisturizer isn't just something that serves out of necessity, but it also an indulgence that should leave your hands smelling delicious as well as moisturised.

Containing shea butter, this lovely hand cream protects hands against the elements, and its gorgeous packing in a polylaminate tube looks great in the handbag too.

Next time I'm really tempted to try their Tarocco Orange, Eucalyptus & Sage collection.

Essentials: Art Deco, Label.M and Batiste

This June, there have been three products which have been overwhelmingly used, to the point I would even describe them as Essentials.

I don't use the word 'essential' lightly either, they say that the average woman has 70 products in her bathroom, but only uses 14 of them daily.  And the three products which I'm going to talk about today, definitely fall into that second category, as not a day goes by without me using them.

They are:
1) Art Deco - Skin Perfecting Make-up Base
2) Label M Therapy Age defying Radiance Oil
3) Batiste Heavenly Volume Dry Shampoo

THE ESSENTIAL PRODUCTS IN ALL THEIR GLORY

REVIEWS

1) Art Deco - Skin Perfecting Make-up Base £16.59 available (here)

This is an incredible light primer which goes under makeup.  I love this product as it is silicone free but smoothly goes onto the skin and minimises pores.  It also keeps make up set in place all day while at the same time providing a more even finish to your makeup - which is of course the main reason I use it every day!

It is definitely a brand to try as it has a nice over all finish compared to other brands such as Benefits POREfessional which can be a bit too thick.

2) Label M Therapy Age defying Radiance Oil £25.50 available from Look Fantastic

As you can see there is only about a third left of this product.

I don't know where to start on this product, as there are so many reasons to love it.   Firstly, the smell is divine, which is a must have with a finishing hair product.

Secondly, it smooths frizz without leaving any greasy residue at all.  I use this product after blow drying to give my hair a silky feel, and it absolutely does that nourishing the hair completely, so it looks and feels great.

Thirdly, this product lasts months, even if you use it every day like me.  It just takes one small push of serum to work through the whole hair.  I absolutely would recommend all girls to try this miracle Radiance Oil.

Incidently this product is from Look Fantastic - a heavenly website with a really great variety of beauty must haves which you don't find on the highstreet and has a great range of high quality products.

3)  Batiste Dry Shampoo Heavenly Volume £3.99 from Boots and Superdrug

Ok, I might not use this every day but it definitely is a hair essential.  This is the perfect rescue remedy if your hair is looking limp and needs a real pick-me-up.

This product has the dual purpose of boosting and volumising the hair as well as making grease disappear.  An absolute handbag must have.

So that's my round up of my absolute 3 essential products...and a picture of me today using all three!

Have you tried any of these products, what do you think of them?

How to look POREfessional in under 5 minutes

Morning Ladies!
During the day when sometimes the low key is best,  primer is a god send. It immediately gives you a lift without looking too over the top.  This is why I find it as an absolute essential for when you're short on time.  It looks great matched with good mascara, eyeliner and lipgloss. Best of all, it takes less than 3 or 4 mintues to do.

Benefit's POREfessional is one of the better primers when worn alone as it does a great job in smoothing your pores to give you a more flawless complexion.  It's also got a hint of beige to it, so it also evens out any discoloration and gives you a more even skin tone without masking your natural tones.

All you need to do is smooth in a pea sized amount onto your face and neck and then add a little bit more to your problem areas (sides of nose and under eyes).  Most primers have a matt finish too so look great on their own without the need to waste time on powders.

Benefit's POREfessional - guaranteed to make you look fab in an instant!

Do you guys include primer into your work makeup routine? Let me know!
