Super shiny sleek hair with Label M Therapy Age-Defying Radiance Oil

Good Afternoon my ladies,
This week I've been using Label M Therapy Age-defying radiance oil, and all I can do is state from the outset is that I give 5/5 stars!
Stronger hair or shinier hair?
Both!! I have been heat damaging my hair a lot recently as I had ran out of hair protector (such a sin!) so my hair had been really fragile, delicate and lifeless. This ultra nourishing oil really brought life and vitality back to my dry hair and did so without making it greasy.  It no longer felt brittle, but actually felt healthy and fairly strong.
Best of all it left it with incredible shine which you can see in the pictures.  (There's a bit of an overload of pictures, but I wanted to show how shiny it came out)

What's Label M Therapy Age defying radiance Oil  like compared to other oils?

I've used many oils before, but this Therapy Age defying radiance oil seemed to de-tangle, strengthen and restore my hair as well as making it shiny and sleek.  Other oils  have just made my hair greasy, and others have managed to make it shiner, but this REALLY is the only one which makes it feel healthier and restored as well.  I think it's down to the age-defence technology as this product really focuses on restoring your hair back to life.

I can say with my whole heart I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Label M oil, and I feel like its helping to restore my hair as well as making it sleek and shiny.  It costs £25.50 but I would say it is definitely worth the buck - especially if you have long / damaged hair that needs some good tlc.  Also, you only need a few drops so I reckon this product could easily last a year.

Fortify Damaged Hair with NEW Aveda Damage Remedy range

Aveda are re-launching their Damage Remedy Range.  This range is infused with quinoa proteins to moisturize and help repair damaged hair.  I was super excited as I got to try it out before hand and oh my gosh do these products do what they say on the tin!

I tried out the New Damage Remedy - Daily Hair Repair and Damage Remedy Intensive restructuring treatment.

After shampooing (with aveda smooth elements shampoo) I ran through my hair about half a palm size of the intensive restructuring treatment which is to be used once weekly.   I left it about five minutes and then combed through with a tangle teaser. I could tell instantly that the quinoa  protein had smoothed and protected my hair as the tangle teaser ran straight through it.  There are is silicone either in these products so it was great knowing my hair was being protected naturally.

I then rinsed it out, dried it with a towel and massaged into the ends the Daily Hair Repair serum.  This is a really light serum that is not greasy at all.  It serves to protect your hair against heat damage as well as help to detangle and smoothen as it too is enriched with quinoa proteins.

The smell to this range is from organic bergamoc, ylang ylang and madarin.  Its a more delicate fragrance than that of the smooth elements range, and is soothing and relaxing.  The cool and contemporary gray and white packaging adds to the feeling that you are caring for and protecting your hair.

Results:
The Aveda Damage Remedy Range really delivers results.  With all natural plant extracts your hair becomes more nourished and cared for and contains no nasty chemicals or silicone like lots of other highstreet brands contain.  I can't wait to incorporate the Intensive Restructuring Treatment and Daily Hair Repair  products into my regime as they repair hair as well as prevent it from future damage.  This range is an absolute must for anybody with dry damaged hair.

Product details:
Aveda Intensive restructuring treatment* RRP 23.50 125ml, Aveda Daily Hair Repair* RRP £19.50 100ml

The New Damage Remedy Range is available from Aveda Salons/Spas stores and available from www.aveda.co.uk from October

August Empties - Hair Care

MORNING!

I was washing my hair last night and as I was drying it and styling it, I realised just how many products I use, and worse than that, how many empties I had!!

You can see that most of the products are for dry, damaged and broken hair, or for protecting hair from further damage.  I will always keep to these sorts of products as it is so dry, keeping its colour / volumizing / anti dandruff products never get a look in!

Below I'll give a quick review on the ones to repurchase, and the ones to stay away from!

Products and review:

Shampoo - TRESemme Salon Silk Shampoo (link)
Repurchase?  Probably

Ok, so there are a tonne of way better shampoos out there than this one, (even worse because I've heard it is full of silicone) but, it contains 900ml and it costs just £2.00 when in promotion.  I have a hell of a lot of hair, and always shampoo twice, so there's no way I could consider a small expensive shampoo otherwise half my salary would go on it.  You get a lot of product for your buck, and genuinely, I quite like it, it smoothes my hair very well and does give that 'salon silk feel'.  I also use the conditioner, but its not empty yet so not in the post.

Lee Stafford Conditioner for breaking hair (link)
Repurchase? No

Its not that I didnt like this product, but for the expensive price of it, and small bottle, I felt like it wasn't worth the money.  It has a strange smell, which be fine if it really did repair my breaking hair, but it just did the same job as any average conditioner would do. I wasn't really impressed but hey ho.

Body Shop Rainforest Moisture Hair Butter (link)
Repurchase? DEFINITELY

I got the baby size to try it out and I was impressed.  It's not only free from all sorts of badies, but genuinely it also REPAIRED my hair.  2 weeks ago it was much dryer since coming back from my holidays, I bought this slathered it all over my hair and it already feels much more nourished, richer and moisturized.  It works particularly well when you've already washed your hair, rub it through the ends and sleep on it, and it will leave it smooth and healthy without the greasy feel. So happy with this product.

Aussie Take the heat leave in conditioner
Repurchase - yes

I will repurchase this product, as I use it when I know I'll straighten my hair as it provides strong heat protection.  It also smells delicious.  But, for a regular leave in conditioner I prefer the bodyshop one.  However, for all you girls who use heat protection, this works very nicely and smells great - most  of them on the market smell terrible.

Lee Stafford Argan Oil (link)
Repurchase - maybe

Here's the deal.  I like this Lee Stafford Argan Oil, and it does the job and it is affordable and I am very pleased with it. BUT, everyone's heard of the famous REAL Argan Oil formula which is always cited as being the best.  So now its finished, I want to purchase that one.  That's not to say there's anything wrong with this one (it can also be purchased with Boots club card point which is always a bonus) but I want to try the real Mc Coy.

L'oreal Elnett Extra Strong Hair Spray (link)
Repurchase -YES

I have been buying these for years (in various strengths) but its always the hair spray I come back to.  I recently bought Aussie hair spray, which did smell nicer but has that trademark sticky feel which all hair sprays except Elnett has.  Elnett always gives great hold with no greasy stickiness and the next day you can't see its reamins/

Have you tried any of these hair care products??? What are your views?

xx
