Review of Park Plaza Westminster Bridge 4* hotel

Hello Chicas!

Over the weekend I stayed at the incredible Park Plaza Westminster bridge hotel and felt compelled to leave a review.

I know a lot of my readers come from overseas and I absolutely think this is THE hotel if you are coming for a London visit, long or short.

Location-wise, it's hands down the most most central you can find with the msot stunning views of all the land marks.  Placed in front of the London Eye and Big Ben, you truly see and feel the magic of London with these iconic views stretched in front of you.  Also, it means you can just walk to these sites, or even walk to Oxford Street too for shopping.  It is also just a 4 minute walk from the Westminster tube station or Padington.

What a view to wake up to!

On to the hotel itself:  I thought the restaruant and the bar on the first floor were really exceptional.  They are fabulous if you don't have time to leave the hotel as they boast the same famous views, as well as having a great glamorous feel to the bar (which is entry only on proof that you are staying at the hotel making it all the more exclusive.)  With a great cocktail list, or even just for a coffee in the morning I can't  recommend enough.

The restaurant Brasserie Joel was also excellent - a great selection of French cuisine to suit most tastes and fabulous for a steak.  We were a party of 12 and they had no problems with serving us all an excellent meal together which other restaurants would struggle  with.  I can't remember the name of the red wine we had, but it was exceptional too and made the meal.  All in all, for a restaurant within a hotel it was very good as I do not normally except a great quality from a restaurant based within a hotel!

Sorry for the stock photo of the rooms - I was too busy taking pictures of my views of London to remember  the room!"  The bed was super soft, extra large and one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in .  With a modern bathroom, small living room and huge windows with iconic views, it really is the best place to stay.  I have stayed  in so many London hotels but this is now top of my list and will be returned too for sure.

If you have the chance make sure to pay the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge hotel a visit

Lot of Love xx

Hotel Carducci 76, Cattolica, Italy

Hey!

After a really hectic couple of weeks, I have just been away for a gorgeous weekend in Italy, Gabicce Mare.

There's nothing like the sound of the waves crashing on the pebbles to really make you feel on vacation and relaxed.

Italy never fails to make me feel alive, from the vibrant people who warmly welcome you, to the incredible food it has on offer. I always think if you stay in a nice hotel, it absolutely brings out the very best of your vacation too.

If you are going to the Emilia Romagna region, I cannot reccomend enough the luxurious hotel Carducci 76 in Cattolica.  The gorgeous hotel feels like a palace and was decorated by Alberta Feretti herself, so absolutely oozes of luxury.  It is a four star hotel, but absolutely feels like a 5 star,  I think it is important to remeber that Italy has a much stricter start rating than other countires and should definitely be taken into consideration.  Even down to the breakfasts, there was nothing I could fault with this hotel, and especially the staff made the stay extra special.

The gardens are full of palms and are maintained beautifully.  They lead on to a stunning pool with restaurant seating around it which makes for the perfect dining experience.  After the pool is the incredible beach front with views of Gabicce Mare to the right.

STAY Copenhagen - luxury appartments

Hello!

I have just spent an amazing long weekend in Denmark.  A beautiful weekend away where I got to enjoy the sites of Copenhagen.

As gorgeous as Copenhagen is - I had to tear myself away from the luxury apartment we were staying in.  Honestly, walking into the room itself, was just breath taking.  I think I'll let the photos speak for themselves for most of this post, as I don't think I can do the STAY apartments justice!

As you can see they provide gorgeous open plan rooms - ours was a whopping 135m squared of open space.  It's designed in modern Scandinavian style - minimalist, fashionable and monochrome. Every detail of the STAY apartment had been thought out and carefully designed - filled with the most beautiful of details.

Here's me chilling on one of the two wool sofas.  I was too excited about the mini tealights they provided - it's such a small touch in the grand scale of things but made the apartment homely.

We had one of the corner apartments with the view on two sides of the apartment making it feel even larger than it already was.  The windows were floor length and overlooking the canal and the twinkling buildings over the road.  The effect was just magical and made the whole stay so beautiful.  This is absolutely no ordinary hotel - being on the fifth floor and the size and scale of the room meant it was more like a penthouse apartment.

The view of the sunset was incredible, as the purple and blue tones of the sky filled the room.  Together with the soft accent lighting in the room meant it was the perfect place to relax at the end of the day after a busy day of shopping.

The kitchen was filled with pots and pans and everything you need to make a delicious dinner.  It made such a nice change to be in a new exciting country but have all the commodities of home and to enjoy eating your dinner at your own dining room.

I would definitely recommend the STAY apartments to anybody - from a couple who want a luxury modern apartment with an incredible view, or even to a family as you have all the comforts of your own home.  The Organic breakfast was also delicious, with local smoked salmon and a selection of cheeses, meats and fresh fruit.

Overall, out visit to the STAY apartments was probably one of the best of my life.  We were honestly left open mouthed when walking into the apartment and seeing the incredible space and of course the view.  The reception staff were so friendly and helpful too - they also offered us a glass of wine to enjoy at the bar on the ground floor.  If you have the chance to go to Copenhagen, then it is definitely worth staying here in order to make your visit absolutely fabulous.
