Nair Washable Roll-On Wax with Argan Oil & Orange Blossom Review

Hello my lovlies,

Today I'm writing a review on Nair washable Roll -On Wax with Argan Oil and Orange Blossom (link).  I'm going to be honest with you all and let you know that this was sent for consideration and review.  And do you know what, I'm so glad I was sent this as it has opened my eyes to the world of home waxing and helped me find no short of a miracle product.

I use home waxing kits regularly as they're much cheaper than going to a salon, but if I'm honest, my results had never been salon quality until today.  I think the success of Nair's roll on wax is because this wax is hot, has a suitable non-messy applicator and comes with salon quality cotton strips that are thicker than the usual pre waxed strips you get which allows you to removal all the wax easily in one go.

The results were just incredible - so much so I think I can only now use this sort of wax in the future due to the success I had with it.  There's no way I'm going back to a salon as the results were just as good and at a fraction of salon prices.

Below are some pictures of me waxing my legs - sorry if your squeamish!

So the picture isn't great as I was using my iphone but I wanted to catch the moment.  Basically, in the box you receive a  roll on applicator.  You take of the safety plug and then pop it in the microwave for just 25 seconds.  Then you just roll a few times and the product comes out of the roller applicator end.  You then roll out the desired amount and then attach a cotton strip, hold the skin tight and pull it off.

The cotton strips are much bigger than the usual 'pre waxed' strips you would get.  They're much thicker and you can use them over and over just like in the salons.

Some how, with just one pull, I removed ALL the wax and hairs.  This has never happened to me before with at home waxing and I really didn't think it was possible until now except in the salons.  I really cannot stress enough how much this roll-on wax really worked.  It is also scented with argan oil and orange blossom which smelt very pleasant.

So here's my post wax picture and all the hair has been removed.  I am literally over the moon at finding this product, as even though it was sent for consideration and review, I can hand on heart say I will be repurchasing this A LOT.  My whole legs were waxed in under 10 minutes and with very little pain and absolutely no mess.  Because the strip pulled of all the wax I wasn't left with gloopy bits on my legs sticking to the towel or any other debris lying around.

So, I think you can tell I am going to give Nair's washable roll on wax with Argan oil and Orange blossom 10/10.  I don't believe any other home wax can actually beat this one. If you wax your legs at home you have to give it a try because of its amazing results and absolute bargain price.  It costs £12.99, but I did my whole legs and only used half the bottle and I'm saving the rest for the next time I need it.  I'm absolutely in love with this product and would recommend it 100% to any girl.

It is available from Boots, Superdrug and Tesco.

Valentine's Smooth Legs - the best of Nair

Hello Ladies,

Valentine's is upon us so it's probably the time to make some special effort and have silky smooth legs!  Given my shopping habit, it usually means I don't have too much money left over for things like going to the beautician's.  Instead, I tend to do these sorts of treatments at home as its a great way of saving money as well as getting great results.

There's two at home treatments that I've been swearing by recently: Nair's Brazilian Spa Clay which is a cream that dissolves all the hair (with ZERO pain) and Nair Easy Wax Microwave. I've written a little compare and contrast so if you're thinking of trying at home hair removal you can see which one is right for you.

Nair Brazillian Spa Clay shower power cream £6.99

This is fantastic for beginners as you need no skill at all, and it removals all the hair in a matter of minutes with zero pain.

EASY PAIN-FREE APPLICATION - All you need to do is squeeze the clay onto your legs and smooth it on with the spatula provided.  After 5-10 minutes hop into the shower and scrape it of with the spatula.  It doesn't hurt at all and provides fantastic even results.

I would absolute recommend this to anybody and DEFINITELY beginners.

Pro: The results last longer than shaving, pain free, easy, fast, cheap, time saver - done at home before hopping in the shower

Cons: Doesn't as long as waxing, clay gets all over shower

Nair Easy Wax Microwave £10.99

Ok, so obviously this is going to hurt more than the Nair Brazilian clay which is pain free.  However, if you can tolerate the pain of getting waxed at a beauticians you can tolerate this! (TIP you have to be decisive, count to three and just do it.

The pros:

Lasts over two weeks
Salon quality wax for a fraction of the price (can do full leg and bikini for £10.99)
Easy application - No need for wax strips - just heat in the microwave and smooth on and pull off
Time saver - can be done at home whenever
Washes off as soluble preventing messy clean ups

The Con's

Element of pain!  But no more than at a salon

Overall

Either of these are a great way of getting silky smooth legs, when you want without being dictated by having an appointment time.  They both are much more cost effective than going to a salon and both achieve great results.

If you want longer lasting hair removal and don't mind the pain - go for Nair Easy Wax Microwave
If you want a painfree solution that lasts longer than shaving (though less than waxing) I would recommend Nairs Brazilian Clay.

Oh and as an additional note - they do a cheeky Nair cream glide-on specifically designed for the underarms and bikini - how cute is this!? (Only £4.92 at boots!)

Nair Easy Wax Microwave RRP £10.99 available here  or from Boots, Superdrug or Asda Nationwide.

Nair Brazilian Spa Clay review

Hey Dolls,

I've recently tried out Nair's Brazilian Spa Clay* facial wax strips so I thought I'd give a little review on it!  The pack comes with 20 wax strips, 2 cooling pre-wipes to prepare the skin and 2 moisturizing post wipes.

I loved the pre wipes. I thought this was a really great touch as I've tired lots of home waxes before and not all of them contain these pre wipes which cool your skin and prep it for action.  They really prepare your skin which I find really important when your about to wax something as delicate as your face!

Though only down point with regards to the wipes is that there is only two of them - and seeing as I won't be using 10 wax strips per time I feel like there isn't enough of them included as I will probably only use a maximum of 4 wax trips per time.

I love the tiny little wax trips - they're the perfect size for all those awkward places :P .  They also have an absolutely lovely scent to them which makes it feel like you're having a real at home spa treatment.

Results:

They worked really well in removing all the hairs quickly and efficiently.  There is a little pain involved but only as much as to be expected with waxing.

It also leaves no residue at all which is a hugely important factor for me.  The wipes therefore serve only to moisturize and not to wipe globs of wax off as I have had to do in the past with other brands.

I would definitely recommend these Nair Brazilian Spa Clay wax strips it is currently on sale at Boots for just £3.79 here when it has a RRP of £5.69 which makes it a bargain which should be snapped up now.  Especially when you think how much you spend on similar treatments as spas, this can definitely save you lots of money.

RRP £5.69 - Available from Boots, Superdrug and Asda nationwide.
But currently on sale at Boots (here) for just £3.79
