Flawless Skin

Hi people, 

Right, so it's Friday night and there's nothing worse than having a breakout.  I thought I'd go over two important parts of my beauty regime which helps me to get flawless skin.  Well, maybe that's an exaggeration! But this trick is in the cleansing and a Benefit playstick.

Cleansing

For me the trick lies in washing my face with a gentle exfoliator.  Nothing with hard granules, but one that gently lifts away the dirt and makeup of the day without damaging your skin.  Every day I use Simple's Oil Balancing cleanser and then follow with the soothing cleanser.

E' sabato sera, e non c'e' niente di peggio che avere un breakout. Quindi ho pensato di discrivere due parte imporanti del mio regime di belezza che mi aiuta a ottenere una pelle perfetta... o forse perfetta e' un essagerazione!  Per me il trucco di ottenere pelle perfetta e' di lavare la faccia con un esfoliante pee sollevare il sporco sensa dannagiare la pelle.

Makeup -

 Benefit's Playstick - this is great for problem skin as it contains the healing extract teatree.  I love the light smell of it which reminds you that you're not just covering up bad skin but healing it. I love the coverage as well, it can be built up to cover blemishes, yet you know that it isn't going to make them worse.

Evening -

Please please remember to take off your makeup at  night! Leaving it on won't let your skin breathe and it will be covered in all the dirt of the day.

Trucchi - 

Benefit's Playstick (si trova a Sephora) - questo prodotto e' buonissimo per pelle problematici in quanto contiene un estratto di teatree che guarisce la pelle. A me piace il profumo di questo prodotto perche se senti l'odore del estratto che serve come un ricordo che fa bene al pelle all' stesso tempo di coprire le macchie.

Nella Sera -

Per favore ricordatevi di togliere il trucco prima che andate a dormire! Lasciando il trucco non lascera' la vostra pelle a respirare e sera# coperta in tutta la sporcizia del giorno!

Highstreet Makeup

Good Morning my beauties!

I had planned on doing a summer outfit for today with some pictures in Hyde Park, but being London, its currently torrential raining outside.  So here I am, in my big jumper in my flat. 

 Rather than drowning in the rain later with expensive makeup, I thought I'd show you guys that cheap highstreet makeup can look just as good if you choose the right products.

Oggi volevo fare un outfit di estate forse con qualche foto fatto a Hyde Park, ma invece, ha piovuto un casino a Londra e in questo momento sta ancora piovendo forte. Allora, io sono qua, nell mio appartamento con un maglione.

Nell posto di affogare nell piogia con trucchi costosa, ho pensato che sarebbe meglio di mostravi quanto trucchi economica comprato al supermercato puo sembrare trucchi di lusso.

  

This look is really easy to recreate and I've used a mix of highstreet and luxury makeup.  I believe in using great makeup, but that doesn't always been that the most expensive is always the best.  Sorry if some of you guys are aren't from the UK and might not have some of these drugstore brands like Boots no7.

Questo stile e' veramente facile de recreare.  Ho usato un mix di trucchi dal Highstreet e prodotti di lusso.  Io credo che dobbiamo usare sempre il migliore trucchi, ma questo non vuol dire che questa sarebbe sembre il piu costoso.  Mi dispiacce se alcuni di voi non siete in Regno Unito e potrebbe non avere alcuni di queste marche dal farmacia  come Boots no7.

Primer - Number Seventeen Photo Flawless, I promise it works just as well as Benefit's Porefessional.

Foundation - My good old trusty YSL teint touche eclat,..I'm sorry guys I believe foundation isn't something you should scrimp on as cheaper ones come out pink on me!

Eyeshadow - GOSH in gray brown

Bronzer - Number Seventeen Instant Glow Shimmer brick, Ok, it's not quite Bobbi Brown's Shimmer brick, but it's near enough and in the rain I don't want to be wasting no Bobbi Brown!

Lipgloss - No7 High Shine gloss in Almost Pink

Casual Makeup

Here's just a quick post showing the difference a little bit of makeup makes, but still creating a very natural and casual look.  As you can see me without makeup leaves a lot to be desired, but it doesn't take much to create a 'flawless' complexion or show off your eyes.

Volevo fare sola una post veloce per mostrare quanto e' grande la differenca con un po' di trucchi!  Ma il look creato e' ancora molto casuale e naturale!  Come potete vedere, sensa di trucchi non sono molto bella, ma con un pochino ti trucchi posso creare pelle liscio e sfruttare al meglio i miei occhi.

Creating the Look:

Prep:

The most important part to achieving  a 'natural' look is creating clear skin.  The below picture is after the application of the following:

La cosa piu' importante per riuscire a fare un look naturale e di creare pelle liscia.  Nel foto di sotto si puo vedere come sono dopo che ho applicato le seguente:

1) Primer - in order to create a natural look , its important not to use a dewy primer.  Much better is a mattifying, pore minimizing primer. 
Splurge: Benefit's Pore-fessional
Steal: Number 17's primer.

2) Foundation - I'm currently in love with YSL's Teint Touche Eclat foundation in B50.  It's got a gel like texture so it easily glides on and it can also be built up as well depending on how much coverage you want.  It is also great for covering those bags under the eyes.

3)Set - I set this foundation with MAC's Prep+Prime loose white powder and MAC's magical cool powder

Now it's time for the fun part - really bringing out the best of your features

Eyes

4) As this is a natural look I didn't want anything heavy.  Instead, Ijust lightly lined the eyes with a small angualr brush with a gold / black eyeshadow.  I then put on lashings of mascara - I love Dior Blackout as it really builds up your lashes and exaggerates their natural length.

Lips

5) As you can see I had covered my lips lightly in foundation too - this is to bring out the most of my light pink lipgloss as otherwise on red lips the colour wouldn't show up.
I used Clinique's but Boots no7 do a similar one for a cheaper price.


And that's it - it's really simple to create a causal makeup look - don't go to heavy with your eyeshadow and no blusher is even needed.  Keep your lipstick / gloss light in colour and be sure to remember lashings of mascara!

Look Book: Monochrome

Hello again my beauties,

As promised here's a look which I wore this bank holiday weekend.  It was a beautiful sunny day in London but still a bit chilly so I made sure I wore something with a jacket!

Ciao di nuovo le lie belezze!

Come vi avevo promesso, qui sotto c'e' un un stile che ho indossato durante la ferria.  E' stato una bellissima giorno con sole a Londra, ma facceva ancora un po' di freddo quindi ho portato questa giaccia di pelle!

I'm a girl who definitely keeps things simple and classic - you're rarely see me wearing wacky colours and combinations in either my makeup choices or from my wardrobe.  I like this look as it is casual yet chic.

Sono una personna che piace  le cose semplice e classica.  Raramente si puo trovare le colore forte  nell mio armadio o nella mia colezzione di trucchi.

I'm wearing:
Leather effect leggings from Urban Outfitters (this season).
Love and drugs oversized t-shirt from Urban Outfitters (this season).
Leather jacket from Zara (last season)
Oversized sunglasses from Chanel (last season)
Black handbag from Longchamp Le Pliage Cuir (on going)

Makeup
There's a lot of black going on with the outfit so I didn't want to my makeup to be too heavy otherwise it might have been a bit of overkill.  I lined the eyes with a blend of black and gold eyeshadow but kept it fairly light.  There was also lashings of mascara and a light pink lipgloss.

Non volevo rischiare di essero troppo nero in questo abito, quindi mi sono trucchata leggermente per non sembrare essagerato.  Ho applicato solo un po' di matita nera con ombretto oro.  Dopo ho messo mascara e' un gloss fuscia per le labre.

Maybelline's Color Show range

Hello my beauties!

I was lucky enough to get my hands on some gorgeous summer nail polish from Maybelline's Color Show range.
Honestly, I hadn't tried a Maybelline polish before, as I'm normally a bit of a die-hard OPI fan, but I have to admit it well exceeded my expectations.

Sono stata molto fortunata perche' ho avuto l'opportunita di provare qualche smalti dal collezione nuova di Maybelline: ColorShow.

Sinceramente, prima, non avevo mai provato un smalto di Maybelline, perche di solito sono un tifoza di OPI, ma devo dire che Maybelline e' stato molto meglio che avevo previsto!

Their Color Show range all have a beautiful consistency giving a smooth coat even at just the first application.  For a highstreet brand it has a luxurious high-end feel where there's no streakyness which makes your application smooth and silky.

The collection is full of powerful and strong colours for those who aren't afraid to stand out from the crowd.  I particularly love the apptly named 'Bubblicious' which is a flirty bubblegum pink colours. Their strong colours are enhanced by the ultra high gloss finish which makes your nails look like they've just been painted.

Il collezione di Color Show hanno un consitenza molto leggera e liscio anche una applicazione sola. Per una marchio di highstreet economica, ho visto che sembrava una marca di lussa, non c'era le righe di smalto quando che rende l'applicazione liscia e setosa. 

E' una collezione rica con colori forti e vivace, fatto a posto per le personne che non hanno paura di stare fuori dalla folla.  A me piace 'Bublicious' che e' una fuscia vibrante.  Questi colori migliorano anche di piu, perche hann una  finitura ultra lucida che rende lunghie super vibrante e' sembrano appena smaltato.

The daring colours would look great paired with a black leather jacket and some killer heels which would really contrast to its vibrancy. I'm definitely looking forward to creating the look tonight.

Have any of you guys tried our the Maybelline Color Show polishes?

Credo che questi colori andrebbe bene con una giaccia di pelle e' un paio di tacchi alti che farebbe un contrasto con questi colori vibranti.  Non vedo l'ora di creare questa 'look' sta sera!
