Sun in Sorrento on the Amalfi coast

Sitting here in London in rainy March....I haven't stopped thinking of getting away this summer to a warmer, more beach perfect location!

Last year I managed to go on lots of sunny vacations, but my favourite was the Amalfi coast in Sorrento.

The crystal blue seas, the gorgeous sun, the natural rocky landscape and flowers everywhere is something which seems a long way away as I look at the gray Thames from my window!  The amazing pizza in Sorrento city centre with fresh local buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and basil on a thick tradition Naples style base was easily the best I have ever eaten.   And I have eaten a lot of Italian pizza!

If you make a trip down to the Amalfi coast be sure to rent a car so you can enjoy the hair pin turns all around the coast and stop of in beautiful little villages along the way.

I think I might have to make a trip back this summer!!

Clothes

Keeping the colours British I went for red white and blue!

I'm wearing int he below - Moschino red shorts, Topshop white crochet vest, blue under shirt  and Chanel sunnies :)

Fun at the beach

Hello Dolls,

Here are just a couple of holiday snaps from the beach.  There's no place that I love more in this world than this beach.  The water is crystal clear and so calm.  Best of all theres no sand - I get it every where!

Really simple casual beach outfit:  Denim shorts, rolled up Jack Wills oversized tshirt and my good old trusty Chanel sunnies!

Its  always best to wear things to the beach that you don't mind getting a bit dirty and second of all, that are light and breezy and  not a pain to put on on top of a wet costume!

cheap beach fashion

Hi!

Just a quick post -

This is a really quick post about cheap and beach fashion - everything I'm wearing is highstreet.  You might have seen the white flower detail crochet shirt from TopShop in a previous post, but this time its tied up and over a super cheap £2.00 primark gray strappy top.  The shorts are old and from a good four years ago.

Best of all are the real leather flip flops from Gap which are not only super comfy but are now in the sale (Cry! I hate it when that happens just after I've bought them!)

Beach makeup and accessories

Its hard to go the beach utterly makeup free, especially when you're used to putting it on every day.  I for one, can't quite hack it.  I feel completely nude without macara on!

Here are my beach makeup essentials:

Dior Show waterpoof mascara - nothing but nothing will make this mascara smudge! (speaking of which to remove it the only thing that works for me is this Garnier 2in1 makeup remover.

Lord & Berry smudgeproof eyeliner pencil in smoke - I'm crazy about  this - not only is the dark grey a beautiful shade, but it stays all day - even in the sea. (Available from ASOS.)

Accessories:

Absolute essentials are -
Chanel Sun glasses - impossible to go out of fashion
Nomad nugget bracelet perfect for the beach look by Dower & Hall

Must have fragrances for this Summer

Hello there my lovely ladies!

I thought I would let you in on my top 3 favorite fragrances for this season.  These are all lightly scented perfumes with delicate touches of flowers and fruits that embody all there is to do with Summer.

See by Chloe
This new fragrance by Chloe is to die for. I was sitting in a cafe waiting for a friend when she walked in and when she sat down I was enveloped in her beautiful, fruity and light smell. This is definitely on my wish list as it has a fragrance which just oozes sensuality and is extremely feminine and fresh. It seems like a fragrance for all women who want to embrace their femminity with this fruity number.

Romance by Ralph Lauren
This is the most and subtle of the three fragrances. So beautiful, in fact, that I had to stop a shop assistant to ask what perfume she was wearing. This beautiful fragrance is extremely delicate and light so perfect of those of you who want to wear perfume without drowning in it.

Flower Bomb byViktor and Rolf

For me, this perfume is like a floral explosion, it is also a lot stronger than the other frangrances that I have chosen but it smells like a blast of Summer with every spritz.  I would reccomend thisto anyone who wants to make an entrance and have people ask you what you are wearing.
