OOTD in Sorrento

 Hello lovely ladies,

It's hot hot hot and frankly, I couldn't be happier!  I love when the sun is out creating beautiful sunsets and you can go out at night and enjoy the cool air.  It reminds me of the holiday I just got back from in Sorrento so this is n OOTD which can be recreated here in our glorious British weather that we're having at the moment.

Clothes - I wore a Zara white long sleeve top with transparent shoulder panels (it is super thin though so perfect for the evening) with a dark blue zara pleated mini skirt.

Makeup -  I had a tan so foundation was out the door as a colour match with a tan is near impossible and paramount to sacrilegious! So instead I just put on powder to minimise the shine, bright fuschia YSL lipgloss and lashings of mascara.

Hair - Super straight with Label M age defying radiance oil.  I can't live without this oil - it is non greasy and does an amazing job at minimising frizz and making it smell delicious. It retails at £25.50 - this is pricey but I would definitely say its worth it.

It looks like I'm wearing old school 10 denier tights but this is my tan, can you believe it!

So that was my OOTD - I felt sleek and sophisticated in this outfit and absolutely perfect for an evening out on the Amalfi coast.  Italians always nail their outfits and I tried not to be the garish brit abroad with florescent shorts ( I saved those for the beach - you'll be getting a peak of them soon!)

AVENUE 32 Dream Holiday Challenge!

Hey Ladies!

I've been invited to share my ideal holiday with my readers for a chance to win a pair of sunglasses from Avenue 32!

So I'd thought I'd let you guys onto a little secret that my dream holiday would be to spend a long weekend on the beautiful Greek island of Santorini!  It's famous for its deep blue sea and beautiful white dome buildings.  I can imagine myself there eating delicious food and going for lazy walks around the island looking at the spectacular views!

My dream day would probably start something like this:

Lazing by the crisp blue sea in the morning with a good book! I'd love to wear a stylish white all in one swimming costume, some tortoise shell sunnies and a silk scarf to keep my hair back!

NoNoo Skirt, Gatsby Python loafers,  Nonoo Blouse with beaded collar

After a morning by the pool I'd love to indulge in a delicious dish of calamari, one of my favorite types of seafood, and of course a Greek salad!  Ice cream would definitely be for dessert!  I love the crisp whites and dark blues of Santorini so I'd probably choose an outfit reflecting that, like this gorgeous white skirt and blue skirt combination with some python loafers!

And for the evening - a romantic walk along the winding roads of Santorini looking out at the sunset.  I love these shoes as despite having a feel they've got a solid and comfy structure perfect for those dreamy strolls!

moschino wallet

Hello my beauties!

I know I've already shown this Moschino wallet on a previous post, but I love it for summer fashion as it can be dressed up an down.  I matched it with casual denim shorts, a large oversized roll sleeve topshop tshirt and some leather wedges from Office.

I went crazy when I found this wallet in such a beautiful nude pink tone.   I got it from the town where these pictures are taken, called Cattolica as it is where they actually manufacture all the Moschino bags and shoes (god help me).  This is why I also treated myself to a few other pieces which you'll see in upcoming posts (note to self - no more bag shopping forever!!).

Makeup: Also, to keep with the smart/casual look I straightened my hair and wore urban decay primer potion (perfect for airport liquid restricitions) with urban decay  eyeshadow in blackout.  I then finished it off with lashings of  DiorShow mascara.    I didn't put foundation on as I already had that holiday glow!

Feeling Pink

If you think London's scorching, here on the Adriatic coast it's absolutely volcanic.  Here's some pictures from the shade as it really was too hot to handle!

I've gone for pinks and blues - with a mixture of highstreet and designer.  On the top half its a pink Guess tank top - I splashed out on this as I really loved the colour and fit and will definitely get lots of wear this summer.  On the bottom half, again those old denim shorts and blue leather flip flops from Gap.  Seriously comfy - I can't get enough of them!
